Sarah is the owner and artistic director of Organic Ministry. Sarah's expertise knows no boundaries, her passion is 2nd to none. It's no wonder she has become one of Adelaide's most sought after hairdressers, booking out a year in advance.
She has over 25 years experience in the hair and beauty industry. Mastering the art of hair, she has enjoyed working on fashion shoots, catwalks, editorial work, theatre, master colour classes and hair competitions, winning many awards and scholarships.
Sarah effortlessly fuses her knowledge of physiology, the environment and anatomy with upcoming trends to give each client a personalised service and experience. She challenges every shade on the colour wheel and creates one off personalised colours on a daily basis. You can sit back and relax knowing you are in good hands.
Sarah is the ch in change. She is an entrepreneur and is extremely passionate about seeing positive change in the industry she loves. Always happy and laughing, Sarah is never quiet for long. She is always studying, learning and dreaming of what’s next.
Outside the salon, Sarah loves moving furniture, recreating spaces, going to the beach and enjoying really beautiful restaurants. Her go-to drink is a latte or a butterscotch hot chocolate. Time with her grandson Lawson is her chance to disconnect from responsibility and enjoy imaginative play.
On her days off, Sarah is often working, researching or heading to Chiton to spend time at the beach house. For her, changing her environment, grounding and being near the coast helps create a renewed mind. Her favourite self care ritual is a bath with magnesium chloride at the end of every day.
One small thing that instantly makes Sarah’s day better is noticing something in nature and feeling gratitude for it. Something clients may be surprised to learn is that if she was not a hairdresser, she would have been a forensic scientist.
Sarah is currently researching peptides and the effects GLP-1 may have on hair loss and how this can be supported through rectification. She couldn’t live without a dream, loves soft furnishings, can profile someone in a second and appreciates each person’s uniqueness.
Her special talent is speaking primate.
